Each decade in human history is remembered for something special. Skateboard history is no different.
  
The 1970’s Bahne, Logon, the “Dogtown Chronicles” and events like the first skateboarding world championships held at Del Mar California….All good.
The 1980’s and on into the early 90’s, great pool boards….Again all good.
  
2000 up till now…..Cheap rubbish longboards have flooded shops, mass produced and blatantly aimed at kids by business men who wish to line there pockets with gold….Call us old fashioned but this don’t sound so good for you and is it something you want to be proud of? We say "No".
Well thank goodness due to a dedicated few like Blackkross Longboards and Insect Skateboards we will be able to look back and have long boards and skate boards that we can be proud of.
We as a band of skaters ask you mass producers of cheap imports, UK distributors who say you care but by your actions and not so high quality £69 completes; “Please don’t rip these good guys off by copying everything these great folk do”.
There is nothing clever about producing cheap copies so stop doing it!
If you are a true skater or longboarder you will stop selling yourself short.
Insist on quality long boards, insist on quality skateboards and ask who makes these cheap skate decks and where?
With great innovators like; Blackkross, Insect and Seismic, amazing folk like Skip Engblom at Santa Monica Airlines. The skate world can be a better place and if they are prepared to invest in you, then surely we can thank them by supporting there great skateboard and longboard products.
